The City of Creedmoor (pop 4600) located approx 20 miles north of Raleigh and Research Triangle Park, is seeking a self-starter to perform code enforcement for zoning, minimum housing, and nuisance abatement issues within Creedmoor’s planning and zoning jurisdiction, and to perform planning duties of limited complexity.
Hiring rate is expected to be $40,000-$45,500 (DOE)
Successful candidate will possess a four-year degree with a preference for coursework in planning or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the enforcement of code standards or planning/zoning certification preferred but not required. Must possess a valid NC driver’s license and pass a criminal history check and pre-employment substance abuse testing.
