RECRUITMENT

DESCRIPTION: The City of Creedmoor is currently seeking a Police Officer to join our department. The Creedmoor Police Department consists of 24 full-time sworn law enforcement positions, 4 full-time telecommunicators, and 3 part-time officers.

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates must meet requirements including a current NC BLET Certification, and a valid NC driver’s license with a clean driving record. Selected candidates may be required to participate in an assessment board. Final candidate(s) will be required to submit to a comprehensive background investigation, medical and drug screening and a psychological consult.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:   The starting salary for this position is expected to be in the range of $50,000 - $60,000 and will be based on qualifications and experience. Officers who live within 30 miles of the city limits of Creedmoor may participate in the vehicle take home program.
