Notice of Public Hearing July 17
Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the City of Creedmoor Board of Commissioners for consideration of the following staff-petitioned zoning text amendments to the Creedmoor Development Ordinance (CDO):
ZTA-2018-03: Art. 5: Amendments to Development Ordinance & Zoning Map; Art. 7, Permits & Procedures; Art. 8, Zoning Districts; Table 8.1, Table of Uses; Art. 9, Building and Lot Type Standards; and Art. 10, Uses with Additional Standards and Conditional Uses of the Creedmoor Development Ordinance.
Proposed amendments will convert the Traditional Neighborhood District Overlay (TNDO) to the Traditional Neighborhood Development - Conditional District (TND-CD), allowing residential lots for single-family detached, single-family attached homes, townhouses, and apartments to be reduced from current lot size regulations in exchange for reservation of land and installation of public infrastructure intended for office, retail, and service uses compatible with neighborhoods.
The hearing will be held July 17, 2018, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the boardroom at City Hall, 111 Masonic Street, Creedmoor, NC. The public is invited to attend and offer comments.
Copies of the proposed text amendments are available for review in the Community Development Office located at 211 N. Main Street, Creedmoor.
