Counterfeit Currency

The Creedmoor Police Department is investigating the passing of counterfeit currency, which occurred Tuesday, January 29, at 8:40 pm at CVS Pharmacy, 612 Main St, Creedmoor.

The suspect in the attached images is described as black male, with some facial hair, wearing a black/grey jacket, white shirt and red pants.  The suspect passed a counterfeit one-hundred-bill (serial# e07224908b).  Security cameras recorded the suspect leaving the scene in a small white vehicle with sunroof (possibly a Toyota Prius).  

Anyone with information on the identity of the suspect in this case is asked to contact Lt. Ricky Cates with Creedmoor Police Department at (919) 528-1515, or call Granville County Crime Stoppers at (919) 693-3100.  A reward up to $1,000 is offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects.  Callers do not have to give their name or personal information.
