NOTICE:  Effective Monday, March 23, City of Creedmoor Mayor Bobby Wheeler and Granville County Board Chair David Smith have issued joint declarations of a State of Emergency in the City of Creedmoor and Granville County.  The emergency declarations reaffirm all previously issued Executive Orders by Governor Roy Cooper, and Mayor Wheeler's declaration reaffirms restrictions put in place by Granville County.

City playground facilities at Lake Rogers Park and Harris Park are closed to the public until further notice.  Visitor access to the Creedmoor Police Dept will be restricted via intercom confirmation of necessity.  City Hall and Community Development office staff may be reached by phone or email, and may schedule appointments for in-person meetings. Please call the main line (919) 528-3332, Option 0 or email customerservice@cityofcreedmoor.org.  Read the Declarations.

Creedmoor Music Festival Returns on September 21st

The 28th annual Creedmoor Music Festival kicks off on Main Street on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a full day of free live music.

The festival lineup includes oldies, bluegrass, blues, country, funk, and rock. The festivities will take place on two stages (Southern States and Sanderford) complemented by over 100 craft and food vendors lining Main Street. This year the Creedmoor Music Festival welcomes White Street Brewing Company of Wake Forest and Tobacco Wood Brewing Company of Oxford to sell craft beer for attendees to enjoy within the festival boundaries. Music Festival Lineup 2019

Beginning with an opening performance by the South Granville High School Marching Band at 10 a.m., the full day of music continues on the Southern States Stage at 11 a.m. with the Rhythm Express Band of Rocky Mount followed by the Invaders Band at 1:15 p.m. Tim Cifers comes to the stage at 3 p.m. and Tyler Kinchen & the Right Pieces close out the day by rocking the stage beginning at 4:45 p.m.

On the Sanderford Stage the day opens with local artist Buckshot Betty at 10:30 a.m., bluegrass favorites GrassStreet at 12 p.m., River Ratz at 2 p.m.; and Cumberland County Line finish out the day with their set scheduled to begin at 4:15 p.m.

Free parking and shuttle service will run every 15 minutes beginning at 9:30 a.m. and continuing until 6:30 p.m.  between the South Granville High School parking lot (701 N. Crescent Dr.) and PNC Bank parking lot (602 N. Main St.).
