Post Date:08/09/2019

Monet & Sorbet

Monet & Sorbet Rescheduled to August 25

The City of Creedmoor has rescheduled the initial Monet & Sorbet class for Sunday, August 25 from 4 – 6 p.m. at Carolina Cotton (207 North Main Street). The new registration price for one set of adult and child painters is $25!

Inspired by the popular Merlot & Van Gogh group painting classes, Creedmoor Parks and Recreation is excited to introduce Monet & Sorbet! This family friendly class, recommended for ages 6 and older, will allow one adult and one child to team up to create their own “monster masterpieces.” Come out and discover your inner artist with your favorite young person!

This step-by-step painting class will be taught by Rachel Evancavich, art teacher at Granville Central High School. A graduate of Marywood University with a BFA in Studio Art, Teachers Certification, and a MA in Art Education, Rachel will lead all students in creating their own masterpieces.

Advance registration is required and a program fee of $25 per set of 1 adult and 1 child is due in advance. Participants can now register and pay online for all recreation programs! Just visit our website and click on the “Register Here” logo (a $1.50 convenience fee will apply). Registration forms are also available for download at the link listed above and can be submitted in person at City Hall or by email with payment made via credit card over the phone.

For more information, please contact Creedmoor Parks and Recreation at (919) 764-1013 or by email.
