Narcotics Investigation Yields Arrest
On Thursday, July 17, 2025, the Creedmoor Police Department, members from the Granville County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (SRT), and the Person County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 219 Oak Street in Creedmoor as a result of an ongoing narcotics investigation. The investigation and search warrant resulted in the arrest of 44-year-old Joshua Lamont Satterwhite.
“An operation like this is only possible with the dedicated efforts of multiple agencies.” “Detective DeSantis, with the assistance of other law enforcement agencies, has worked hard on this case over the last several weeks,” stated Chief Troy Wheless.
Mr. Satterwhite has been charged with the following crimes:
Felony Possession of Cocaine
Felony Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substance
Felony Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance
Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, & Deliver Schedule VI Controlled Substance
Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, & Deliver Schedule I Controlled Substance
Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, & Deliver Marijuana
Felony Possession of a Firearm by Felon
Felony Possession of Stolen Firearm
Felony Possession of Vehicle with Altered/Removed Serial Number
Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana
Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He was placed in the Granville County Detention Center under a $105,000 secured bond.
