The Energy Burden and Emissions Reduction Program (EBERP) offers energy efficiency upgrades and retrofits to eligible homeowners in Granville, Durham, and Orange Counties funded by a $1.5 million grant from the US Department of Energy, running from 2024 to 2027. The program is thoughtfully designed to help community members in neighborhoods across all 3 counties by providing energy efficiency services and energy education.  Residents can apply for services such as HVAC repairs and insulation.
