A lifelong resident of Creedmoor, Mayor Downey has witnessed the City grow and thrive over the years. He hopes to help restore the unity and togetherness that Creedmoor once enjoyed. He attended South Granville High School and Methodist University, where he studied Business Administration and Restaurant and Hotel Management. He loves the great city he proudly calls home.

Mayor Downey’s family includes his wife, Sarah; three sons, Sean, Trey, and Kobe; and one daughter, Briana. He is a member of Christian Faith Center and is devoted to his faith.

Mayor Downey is dedicated to ensuring a healthy and thriving community with amenities for residents of all ages. He is committed to improving water quality, strengthening infrastructure, and supporting the continued progress of Creedmoor.
