Overview
The City of Creedmoor Planning Board was created to provide for continuous, cooperative, comprehensive planning for the city and its extraterritorial jurisdiction. This Board was created pursuant to the authority of Article 19, Part 1, of Chapter 160A of the North Carolina General StatutesSections 361 and 387.

Board Meeting Dates
The Planning Board meets each month on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Meeting Room at City Hall, 111 Masonic Street.

Board Member Residency
The City of Creedmoor's Planning Board consists of:

• Five (5) representatives who reside within the city limits, appointed at-large by the City Board of Commissioners, and 

• Three (3) representatives who reside inside of the extraterritorial planning jurisdiction (ETJ), appointed at-large by the Granville County Board of Commissioners. 

Each member serves a three-year term. Members are required to attend 85% of all scheduled meetings to maintain their appointment.
