Thank you for your interest in performing at this year’s Creedmoor Music Festival. The festival is a highly anticipated annual music event held on Main Street in downtown Creedmoor, North Carolina.
It is the intent of the Creedmoor Music Festival Planning Committee to present high quality, family – friendly, diverse music that appeals to the ever growing number and taste of our local and regional attendees. Last year’s festival not only drew record attendance (estimated around 6,000-8,000) but also a new vendor participation record. This is a dynamic opportunity to showcase your band!
Performers wishing to participate at the festival will be required to comply with an application process as outlined below.
- Complete and submit a CMF Performer Application and performance sample (see application guidelines).
- Submit online, email, mail or hand deliver by Friday, March 1, 2019 to:
Creedmoor Music Festival
111 Masonic Street
P.O. Box 765
Creedmoor, NC 27522
Applications submitted online are still required to submit a performance sample by one of the above methods.
Applications received after March 1, 2019 will be considered only on a space available basis. Selection committee will meet to review submissions and will notify selected performers only by March 15, 2019.
For questions regarding the application process, please email MusicFestival@CityofCreedmoor.org or call (919) 764-1003. Up-to-date event information can be located on our website or the Creedmoor Music Festival Facebook page #CreedmoorMusicFestival.
While we truly appreciate performer loyalty to our festival, the reality is that there are many more performers interested than we have slots available. As performer interest in the festival has grown substantially, our goal is to include as many different genres as possible, which means limiting to one or two performers per genre depending upon applications received. The determination has been made to rotate long-time, loyal performers to enable the introduction of new talent to the growing number of attendees and more diversified community.
Interested performers must complete and submit this Performer Application and include performance samples by the submission deadline indicated below. The Band Selection committee will meet to review submissions and will notify the selected performers.
The average performance set time is 60-90 minutes. These times are dependent on the current festival’s scheduling dynamics. The CMF is a family event and all performances must be family-friendly. There are two stage locations, Southern States Stage and Sanderford Street Stage, which feature a variety of great music throughout the entire day of the festival!
Performers are welcome to set-up a small display at the provided tent and table to the side of the stage for promotion and sales.
Once the performers have been selected, the committee will work to finalize the performance schedule. Shortly thereafter, performers will receive a band package that will include the band schedule and instructions for additional materials to submit (band bio, promotional photos, etc.).
The CMF Committee contracts with professional sound system engineers who will need stage layout and technical information from each performer. Spec sheets will be included in the band package.
